Southgate Restaurant

28 Tong Duy Tan

Set in a white colonial villa off the hustle and bustle of ‘food street’, Southgate is in stark contrast to all the one dish stalls serving only beers. Southgate has a minimalist urban bar feel downstairs and then a contrastingly light and airy second floor with original tiles reached by an external staircase. Cocktails are incredibly tasty and strong while the food menu is small and hence well executed. Try the guava chili margaritas and poached salmon with mustardy potatoes.
