Leaving Khartoum
When we found out we were being posted to Hanoi there was initially quite a bit of apprehension – what were we going to do about our puppy? Most advice was very negative and if you google ‘dog + Hanoi’ all images just show strung up dog carcasses ready to be eaten…. Not exactly where we wanted her to end up. We were also told it was simply too hectic a city and not suitable for a dog. Disregarding all advice we of course brought her. She flew with us on Qatar (for 16 hours) gingerly stepping out in Noi Bai after all her papers were checked. Since then she has never looked back and has taken to the city incredibly well. For an alert little hound the sights and smells are just so exciting. We of course immediately began to explore….
Hi, I bumped into you and Tala in Ciputra today while you were jogging. My husband and I were walking our black Phu Quoc, Beau. I was curious to know about the Sudanese dogs and I came across your blog. We should get together and walk our dogs if you have time. Call or text us: 01658 333 142, maybe we can meet up for a coffee and dog walk. Sayeh and Mark.
Tala is a beautiful name by the way.
